Life Story Video Packages
For documenting your life story or your family’s life story on camera, I offer three packages: ‘Raw Footage’, ‘Raw Footage + Caption Edit’ and ‘Raw Footage + Documentary Edit’. Regardless of which service is chosen, all services will involve filming at your home or a place of your choosing* and will include all the material filmed (the Raw Footage).
RAW FOOTAGE
Filming One Person + Raw Footage = £300
Filming Two People + Raw Footage = £400
This is the filming of a one or two interviews for at least an hour each at the same location on the same day and supplying the full interview/s from the moment the camera is switched on to the moment it is switched off. The footage is then colour-graded, sound-sweetened and will be available in High Definition.
The example below is a brief clip of unedited material from ‘An Interview with my Parents’. It demonstrates what the Raw Footage option will look like, ideal if you want to edit the material yourself or to simply have a complete record of everything that was said.

RAW FOOTAGE & CAPTION EDIT
Filming One Person + Raw Footage + Caption Edit = £400
Filming Two People + Raw Footage + Caption Edit = £500
Again, one or two interviews will be filmed for at least an hour each at the same location on the same day, but this time along with the questions removed and captions inserted in their place, creating a more intimate viewing experience. The Q&As are often rearranged in the editing to create a greater sense of ‘story’. This will then be colour-graded, sound-sweetened and available in High Definition.
The Raw Footage will also be supplied, so you have everything that was filmed on the day!

RAW FOOTAGE & DOCUMENTARY EDIT
Filming One Person + Raw Footage + Documentary Edit = £1,500
Filming Two People + Raw Footage + Documentary Edit = £1,800
Again, this will involve the shooting of one or two people for at least an hour each at the same location on the same day, but this time professionally edited into a single bespoke ‘documentary’ with music and photographs.
PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT the full interview with a few photographs added (as some companies offer); instead, it’s a highly creative task of taking salient sections of interview and crafting them into a brand new emotive ‘story’ that can be watched time and time again - worthy of being broadcast on TV.
Your Life Story Video will then be colour-graded, sound-mixed and delivered in High Definition. The Raw Footage will also be supplied, so you have everything that was filmed on the day!

A life-story documentary with music and photographs told in your own words
The above prices for the life story documentary edit are based on durations of 25 minutes for one person and 45 minutes for two people.
*All travel is charged at 50p per mile from my location in Atherstone (almost the geographical centre of England), so 50 miles from base would be charged as a return trip of £50. Tolls, parking fees, congestion charges, and non-land travel, where applicable, will be charged at cost.
